Frequently asked questions
How do I change the service shown in Maia?
Use the Service menu in the toolbar and select any active service. You can also configure which services appear in the Unified timeline from Settings.
How do I control the Unified timeline?
Open Settings → Unified Timeline and choose the services you want included. Maia will stop fetching disabled services and refresh the timeline automatically.
Why is a connected service unavailable?
Maia depends on the APIs and availability of each third-party platform. Temporary outages, server restrictions, account permissions, or API changes may affect access.
How do I report a problem with a widget?
Use the in-app feedback screen and select the affected service. Mention which widget size you used and what happened when you tapped the post.
Does Maia read my password?
No. Authentication is handled using the connected service's login flow, and access tokens are stored securely on your device.
In-app feedback may include the app version, iOS version, device model, selected category, affected area, and the message you write. Maia does not automatically send passwords, access tokens, usernames, direct messages, post content, or timeline data.
